Dandelion Days

You would think the dandelion would play a larger role in Hollywood movies as a villain the way suburbanites treat them.

The way they spray their lawns, constantly monitor and scoffing at the neighbor that doesn’t care.

The thing is, they are far from evil.

To some, they are a path to a wish, an ingredient in a salad, a base of their wine, a stanza in their poem. So, does any of that sound evil to you? I personally love the flower.

No matter what your stance, the dandelion days are here.

I took this opportunity to turn this yard villain into the subject of a one page zine.

This is a great way to take a small series of photos and see if you can make a story out of 8 available pages.

I used a textured paper this time and really like the results. The thicker paper is harder to fold and stay shut, but I put a clamp on it for a day and that did the trick.
